Matthew Skurow is an American film and television producer, director and screenwriter. As an Industry innovator in traditional and non-traditional media, his projects include original television series, feature films, large-scale stage shows, live streamed events and virtual & augmented reality experiences.
Having produced over 500 hours of network television, his recent credits include primetime and Emmy™ nominated shows for Dick Clark Productions, CBS, Fox and FremantleMedia. No stranger to the red carpet, Matthew translated the glitz and the glamour of those moments into a live 1 hour OSCAR Red Carpet broadcast for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the Accounting firm for the Oscars, and streamed it to the The Huffington Post. The broadcast resulted in driving 8 million impressions to the site. He chairs the Online Video Committee for the Producers Guild of America. In 2014 he produced and co-hosted the Guild's first-ever live stream of the Produced By Conference, a 16-hour live broadcast from the Warner Bros backlot. In 2015 his role was expanded to produce and direct all digital content for the entire Produced by LA conference at Paramount studios. In June of 2016, he reprised his producing role with the Producers Guild of America with “The Inside Secrets of Entertainment Franchises,” a live stream panel that gathered A-list television network producers with today’s hottest YouTube creators in an open discussion about building and sustaining viewership from a creative, social, and business standpoint. He is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Producers Guild of America and currently serves as President and Executive Producer of Miraculi Entertainment, a Production Company located in Los Angeles. |
